During a day on set, a photographer’s assistant battles increasingly surreal nightmares of gender dysphoria.

Jesse has known for a long time that something about life in their body does not feel quite right, but they don’t have a clear image of what would be better. During a day on set working as an assistant for a talented yet exacting photographer, Tom, Jesse battles increasing paranoia about how they are being perceived by others. Jesse’s fears spiral them into a surreal experience of their dysphoria, forcing them to confront whether or not this current reality is something they can or want to continue to endure. This is a film about what it feels like to be free and how hard it can be to get there.
